I confirm that hemp fiber paper can be printed in general terms, screen-print either digitally screen printing portland.
The choice of one technique or another depends on some parameters.
⁃ number of prints for each image: if there are few or at most a single model, digital printing is preferable; If, on the other hand, there are numerous copies for each image, screen printing is more convenient.
⁃ number of colors of the figures: if the printing colors are many, direct digital printing is easier.
⁃ quality of the finished product: if it is a product that costs little, the quality of digital printing, more “commercial”, may be sufficient. But if we are talking about a higher value product (which may be artisanal or artistic), the materiality of the screen print, especially if it is made with particular inks, can be an advantage or even a necessary feature.
As far as digital printing is concerned: on a support composed of a large amount of cellulose such as hemp,water based inksStandards used in the most common inkjet printers (even large ones) are considered adequate. If we refer tosolvent inksor ecosolvents that are used in large plotters that print on PVC bases do not seem the most appropriate to me.
